Event Details

We welcome caregivers and children ages 0-5 to join senior residents for a storytime, encouraging social interaction between generations. Librarians will read stories, sing songs, and provide a snack, craft, and social time for all attendees. Intergenerational programs come with many benefits for both children and seniors, including decreased loneliness, delayed mental decline, and new connections, along with increasing the amount of smiling and conversation among all involved!
