Program Description

Event Details

Michigan is well-known for its wine and craft beer, but its spirits have remained one of our state’s best kept secrets. Join us at Oat Soda, 197 S Broadway St, to learn the history of Michigan distilling, from early European settlers, to Prohibitionists, to the current resurgence in the craft of distilling in Michigan. Michigan spirits are gaining acclaim; Vodka, Rum, Gin, Whiskey, Brandy... they are all locally made and worth trying! The presentation does not require the purchase of alcohol, but should you wish to enjoy a drink a select menu of craft cocktails will be available to purchase. Snacks will be provided. Register online. This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Orion Township Public Library.
