A storytime for all ages! Children ages 0-5 and their families are invited for stories, songs, and activities that promote the five staple early literacy practices: reading, writing, singing, talking, and playing! Limit 20 children.

We welcome caregivers and children ages 0-5 to join senior residents for a storytime, encouraging social interaction between generations. Librarians will read stories, sing songs, and provide a snack, craft, and social time for all attendees.

This monthly support group for individuals who care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias is led by a trained facilitator and sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association Michigan Chapter.

Make an appointment at the Orion Center Branch by calling (248) 693-6840. Bring your device or use our computers and our Branch Associate Kurt can troubleshoot basic technology questions and needs.

This is a meetup for infants 0-12 months old and their caregivers. Come play together and meet new friends. Best suited for non-walkers. This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Orion Township Library. 

We will get together to read from an early reader or picture book series. We will read, discuss, and do activities based on the books. Books in the series will be available to check out after the meeting to continue the reading fun.

Visit with Jasper, Henry, Merlen, Crush, or Woody to practice your reading skills to a silent listener – one of our certified therapy dogs! Readers can collect stamps for a free book.

Kids will be paired with a teen reading buddy to practice reading aloud, help sound out words, and assist with comprehension through stories, rhymes, and games.

This month's meeting can be attended in-person or on Zoom.
