The Middle School Battle of the Books is for 6th-8th graders in LOCS interested in reading books, and battling for the top team between the 3 middle schools. Any interested students sign up with your middle school media specialist.

Basic Tech Help for Seniors Kurt 

Beginners and experienced players are welcome on Saturday morning each month.  Learn to play this popular trading card game, or battle it out against your friends.  Bring your own cards, or use a pre-made deck provided by the library.

Join us the 2nd and 4th Fridays of most months for a chance to get out and socialize.  Each week will feature a different topic so that participants can enjoy the company of other seniors!

A music and movement-based program just for ages 0-5! Join us as we dance, groove, jump, and move to our favorite songs and rhymes, promoting gross motor skills alongside early literacy!

 Adults with special needs and their caregivers can join us for stories, songs, movement and activities. This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Orion Township Public Library.

The long-awaited final book in Kazu Kibuishi’s popular graphic novel series is being released February 6! Join us for activities, snacks, and a chance to win Amulet books. 

Teen Tuesday is a casual hang out for teens who enjoy hanging out with friends, or just enjoy the quiet of playing on their phone. Each week will be dedicated to a theme of board and card games, video games, D&D, crafts and more!

You didn’t read the book? No problem! This is a book club in reverse. We will have activities based on a book and read the first chapter together.

Interested in learning about makerspace equipment? Have a question? Need some guidance or inspiration for your project? Drop in and meet with our makerspace librarian and start creating.

Mardi Gras masks and a mystery murder!  At this after-hours event, assume the role of a character and work together (or against each other) to solve a murder at New Orleans’ most exclusive Mardi Gras party.  Refreshments will be provided
