Pick up a spice kit containing the spice of the month, corresponding recipes, and a reading list based on the chosen spice.

This monthly support group for individuals who care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias is led by a trained facilitator and sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association Michigan Chapter.

We welcome caregivers and children ages 0-5 to join senior residents for a storytime, encouraging social interaction between generations. Librarians will read stories, sing songs, and provide a snack, craft, and social time for all attendees.

Spend time together at this parent child workshop. Have time to play, experience art activities, and meet new friends. Each week a Community Resource Specialist will be on hand to answer questions about their specialty.

Hooray, it’s a Bluey party! We'll have exciting activities like Storytime, crafts, games, and even snacks. Don't forget to wear your favorite Bluey outfit!

In partnership with LOCS Early Childhood Special Education’s Parent Involvement Day, we offer this welcoming, interactive environment designed for children with special needs and sensory seeking kids.

Join us for a fun-filled hour of learning and creativity designed specifically for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

All are welcome to join this lively book discussion held on the second Wednesday of the month.

Sept 11: You Were Aways Mine by Christine Pride and Jo Piazza 

Join the latest GAP activity at the library. Lake Orion Middle school students in grades 6-8 are invited to participate in an exciting after-school program featuring crafts, activities, games, snacks, and more.

In honor of International Games month, learn to play Dungeons and Dragons! Participants will learn the basics rules and play a brief combat session using the new “One D&D” rulebook.  Ages 12-Adult

Visit with one of our six therapy dogs to practice your reading skills with a silent listener - the dog! Readers can collect stamps for a free book. Readers will be assigned a 15-minute timeslot upon arrival.

Dust off your high school Spanish and connect with others looking to practice conversation skills in English OR Spanish. Speakers of all levels welcome.  

Calling all romance lovers— Sips and Pages, OTPL’s first romance book club is just for you! We’ll read a different romance book geared toward a specific romance genre/trope. Come prepared to share all your favorite juicy details!
